About Patta

Patta is an Amsterdam streetwear and sneaker brand founded in 2004 by Edson Sabajo and Guillaume Schmidt. The name comes from Surinamese slang for "shoe" — a nod to the founders' beginnings selling rare sneakers before they built one of Europe's most influential street-culture labels.

What started as a small store on the Zeedijk grew into a brand known for premium apparel, distinctive graphic design and a deep connection to hip-hop, football and community. Patta's collaborations with Nike, Converse, Jordan and others — most famously the Air Max 1 "Chlorophyll" — are studied and collected worldwide.
